Interlocking, or interlocking pavers, can be used in virtually any application that would normally use concrete. They come in a variety of colours and connect together to form multiple geometric designs. While there are advantages to interlocking such as no cracked driveways, cheaper installation, and stones which can easily be relevelled and replaced, there are also disadvantages such as weeds growing in between the bricks (which need to be regularly removed in the warmer months) and erosion of sand and dirt from in-between bricks.

While it can crack if not poured properly, concrete has many advantages over interlocking that people don’t often think about. There is no need to worry about erosion of soil and weeds growing, unless there is a crack of course. Dependant also on the material used, concrete can be more affordable than paving since high end paving stones and natural stone have a tendency to be priced much higher. Concrete is also more versatile to work with as it can be formed into any shape and stamped concrete can be virtually any colour under the rainbow.
